About this deal
Good menu and freshly prepared home baking gives it a special appeal compared to the normal garden centre fare. Delicious food (I'd recommend the vegan breakfast to even the most avid carnivore), great coffee, lovely atmosphere and friendly, courteous staff. This was mostly light-hearted but there were some serious topics covered and I appreciated that aspect to it.
The Lemon Tree Cafe Bistro is a casual, informal eatery offering personal service and great homemade food that is a notch above the rest!It was so warmly written that I didn't want to put it away, even for a moment, and cursed life getting in the way.
Rosie is a hardworking and business driven strong woman who has focused on her career and forgot about relationships for many years. Let's just say Rosie has had a bad incident with a boyfriend in the past and she doesn't really open her heart to other men since then. When Rosie Featherstone finds herself unexpectedly jobless, the offer to help her beloved Italian grandmother out at the Lemon Tree Cafe - a little slice of Italy nestled in the rolling hills of Derbyshire - feels like the perfect way to keep busy. Rosie is hiding a terribly upsetting secret from everyone, and soon decides that it's time to come clean and let those closest to her know what happened to her all those years ago.
I mean, I want my hero to appear on the pages more than Gabe appeared, so the end felt so pushed and rushed and I wondered, when did they really have time to fell in love? Then something happens to threaten everything that Rosie holds dear, and she has to spring into action to save both the café and her fledgling relationship.
