Furthermore, the author draws a connection that makes it sound as though these indigenous people learned the technique from ancient Egyptians. Yet, the author runs a good gamut through many Craft basics, including working with herbs, crystals, and essential oils. Pagan Portals is, as the name suggests, a series of books (by various authors) with the aim of introducing various aspects of Paganism.

This is an excellent time to take action regarding your deepest wishes and to address your biggest blockages. This book was perfect for beginners of moon magic or just someone looking for a good reference book.There’s a large section in this book on Moon Goddesses, but precious little about Gods with similar associations. She's probably trying to be relatable, but it rubs me the wrong way because at no point is she saying to consult medical or nutritional professionals. I do not recommend this book for beginners, as previously stated, there is superficial information in this book that can become confusing for those looking to start the craft. This phase of the moon starts 3 days after the New Moon, when you can begin to see a small portion of the moon in the dark sky. The Kindle edition is with me at all times (thru the Iphone Kindle app) and is an easy way to check moon phases and correspondences.
