About this deal

So while the cultures and places themselves are not completely unique and original, they are presented in a very engaging way, making this 700 page epic breeze right along. The Divine Fire might not like the feeling of powering an undead that isn't "meant" to become human.

Mages: Experience something like the Mage Sight — and become vulnerable to supernal entities whose attentions you suffer. It is unknown if this prevents Magic Utility Flasks from being able to be triggered with Enchantments. At the beginning of every chapter is a short paragraph on some part of the history of the world – what happened at this place, how this form of magic works, and so on – add this to the strongly balanced worldbuilding that expands as the story unfolds and you have the means to an excellent work of literature.

I've been poking around with updating those to mechanics that fit a bit better with 2e design, and considering adding some effects to the other splats, but I haven't gotten a ton done on it yet. It has everything a fan could want – detailed magic, good characters and evil characters (of both genders) and some in between, a compelling plot, and twists aplenty.Opinions vary, some love it and some don’t – it depends on how well the author portrays the various religions. could sometimes fail to apply flask effects to you, for example, when swapping out an equipped flask for another.

It seemed to me upon reading the definitions that they were used correctly, but then again I’m no expert in any of said cultures. Promethean blood was worth 1/2 a point of Vitae per "point" of blood taken and had no additional effects. Given the nature of Sekhem, I'd rule the blood of Mummies as exceptionally potent in Vitae - in fact, so potent the Vampire drinking would actually take damage from it, and potentially feel the full effects of Sybaris flooding through. In my conversion I'm probably just going to make it a straight x2 Vitae to avoid getting into fractional amounts of Vitae, and to make the Vitae gained more consistent with the Duration, of I even put a Duration on it. Changelings: I am pretty sure it's mentioned in "Rites Of Springs" that since changeling blood has traces of Glamour, which is associated with dreams and strong emotions, vampires can get really addicted to changeling blood rather quickly.Because it does not consume charges, using Flasks with the Alchemist's prefix and up to 70% increased effect from Enchantments using the Enkindling Orb greatly improves the effects without the downside. Prometheans: might infuse the vampire with a bit of the humor associated with the promethean's Lineage, leading to mood swings.
