About this deal

Considering I desperately want to read Into The Weeds, I chose this week to up the steamy, cute holiday romance that is Lovelight Farms. So, the big question is did I enjoy it? Well, put it this way, I want the next book in the Lovelight series NOW! Lines are blurred between their fake-dating and reality. Every moment between Stella and Luka felt so right. Like they should have been together forever. I loved how intricately woven they were into each other's lives. Beautiful love story! I can’t wait to hear what you think if you decide to read these books! Let us know in the comments!

Lovelight Farms is just as wonderfully cheesy as it sounds. It’s a cosy Christmas romantic comedy featuring an adorable small-town (think Stars Hollow), witty dialogue, a Christmas tree farm, a hostile family of raccoons, delicious baked goods and endless amounts of hazelnut lattes. What's particularly refreshing about this romance story is that it's not just a superficial addition to the novel. The romance is woven into the fabric of the story, providing depth and complexity to both Stella and Luka’s characters. Their relationship is also a testament to the power of love and how it can help people through difficult times. I don’t know if there will be a story (even novella) featuring Dane, but I would be first in line to read if there was/is. So begins a month long experiment to help each other get better at dating. Caleb tends to fall too hard, too fast and Layla needs to learn she’s worthy of a guy’s full attention and thoughtfulness. The attraction between them is undeniable, but as the end of the month approaches, they’re struggling to figure out what’s real and what’s for show. A pasture of dead trees. A hostile takeover of the Santa barn by a family of raccoons. And shipments that have mysteriously gone missing. Lovelight Farms is not the magical winter wonderland of Stella Bloom’s dreams.Book Summary: From the publisher: Nova Porter isn’t looking for love, and she certainly has no explanation for her attraction to buttoned-up, three-piece-suit-wearing investment banker Charlie Milford. Maybe it’s his charm? Or maybe it’s his determination to help her fledgling business however he can. Either way, she’s distracted every time he’s around. With her new tattoo studio set to open in her hometown of Inglewild, she doesn’t have time for frivolous flirtations. Above are just some of the tropes you’ll find within this story, ones that will set your heart racing and aching for more when the book finishes, just like it did mine, In an effort to save the Christmas tree farm she’s loved since she was a child, Stella enters a contest with insta-famous influencer Evelyn St. James. With the added publicity and the huge cash prize, she might just be able to save the farm from its financial woes. There’s just one problem. To make the farm seem like a romantic destination for the holidays, she lied on the application and said that she owns Lovelight Farms with her boyfriend. Only . . . there is no boyfriend. Each book contains explicit sex scenes, so these books are pretty spicy! The steam is definitely not the focus of the book, but there are a few scenes in each novel so it’s found throughout the whole series. Each of these novels has a similar spice level. Lovelight farms is a nice friends to lovers, small town, holiday romance. The story follows Stella, who owns a tree farm in a small town and is in love with her best friend Luka since she met him 10 years ago.

I don’t even know what I was thinking when I started reading this book. I’d just had my hopes crushed and heart broken all over again and yet dived head first into a romcom(?) A true hopeless romantic, I guess. 😂🥰 Since the first book, Lovelight Farms, came out in 2021, this small town romance series has taken romance readers by storm!

Book Summary: In Layla’s story, Lovelight Farm’s resident baker is ready to give up on love. She’s surrounded by the happiest couples all day and wonders when she’s ever going to find the kind of relationship that her friends get to experience. When former local cop, Caleb, takes her by surprise one evening, they start to commiserate over their dating woes. In a half-joke, half-serious suggestion, Caleb wonders if they can help each other out. I love how Stella & Luka’s relationship develops. The adorable and (sometimes) steamy interactions, and not to mention the drama involving the strange going-ons at the farm. It all adds up to a gorgeously funny, cute and heartwarming romance. I really liked B. K. Borison writing style and loved the small town setting, which gave me some nice Gilmore Girl vibes. The romance between the protagonist, Stella , and her childhood friend , Luka , is a central part of the story. Their rekindled friendship blossoms into a sweet and heartfelt romance that adds another layer of warmth to the novel. Borison skillfully captures the chemistry between Stella and Luka, making their romance feel genuine and authentic.

Enter Luka Peters, Stella’s best friend of almost ten years and the guy she's hopelessly in love with. She wants to ask him to be her fake boyfriend for the week Evelyn is staying, but equally, she's terrified. Thankfully she does, and oof is the tension sweet and sexy and toe curling. I also ate up the way these two tip-toed around their feelings for each other. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this is one of the best versions of it! Enter best friend Luka Peters. He just came home for some hot chocolate, and somehow got a farm and a serious relationship in the process. Will their fake love affair save Lovelight Farms in time for Christmas? Both main and supporting characters are likable and I was immediately engaged with their story and invested in their HEA.
