About this deal

Certain parts of the lower registers appear masked and overlaid, bass is one note sounding and not agile enough to keep up when things get busy and fast. The Final Audio E1000/E2000, which has the same problems as the Carbo Tenore but with even worse QC issues than the BL03, and so hardly gets my personal recommendation In short, the low end is a mixture of mixed feelings, some very enjoyable, others more diffuse, less well defined and of lower resolution. One misses a point of greater overall dryness.

Edit: so it's near end of December 2022, it's been over 2years of daily driving blons. Intrigued by their midrange and soundstage .i choose to get some neutral / bright classics under 50, expecting they would out do blon especially in midrange. so I got HeartMirror and tin t2. The BL-Max has more quantity in the lows. It has a louder rumble and slightly longer decay in the subbass. Midbass also has more weight and more boomy in the BL-Max. Meanwhile, the BL-07 has better depth, texture and control. With the mids, the BL-07 has way better transparency, has more air, and sound more natural than the sometimes nasal and boxy sounding mids of the BL-Max. The BL-07 also has more details, sparkle, and longer decay in the highs. Cymbals and lead guitar sound livelier and more energetic. In terms of the soundstage, the BL-07 is wider and taller. Instruments are separated better and imaging is much clearer in the BL-07. Both sets are non-fatiguing, but the IT00 have better clarity and micro-details. Soundstage and imaging is better on the E3000. The IT00 have detachable cables, but suffer from significant driver flex, which can be a deal-breaker for some. Vs. Tanchjim Tanya Thom's vocals are intimate and clear, filtered panning piano arpeggios have a slight bloom in the low end, but has an overall pleasant effect. The Blons handle imaging of the orchestra very well. I was able to pinpoint specific violins and cellos, while the bass section came off as more of an all-encompassing wall of low hums. Swelling string crescendos are replayed nicely, again with a slight bloom in that transition from mid-bass to lower mids, but I found the effect pleasant in this case.

TL;DR: recap

In this case, could you please try other cables or change the cable side to test whether the issue can be fixed? Fit for me personally is totally fine. I've heard people complain a lot about the fit however I have smaller ear canals and it fit me great out of the box. YMMV if your have big ear canals. Much cleaner sound and a very nice soundstage compared to the E10C. It is very well balanced I can definitely hear tiny details in the music I would normally have missed. Most noticeable improvement were in Prog and Classical music.

Let me get my one issue with the BL-03s out of the way first. There’s a lot to like about these miniature wonders, but fit, at least into my relatively narrow ear canals, is definitely not one of them. As the BLON BL-03 sound really well, I am going to compare them to products from varying price ranges. That’s because they have been compared by some to top-of-the-line earphones. So let’s see how they hold up against various competitors: But is its tonal balance enough for me to overlook its shortcomings in technical performance? I’d argue no to that. But on that note: is its tonal performance enough to distinguish itself from being simply “average”? Certainly. The additional costs of aftermarket tips and cable may also strip the BL03 of its “★★ value” after it is factored into the total price of the resulting setup. Highs are well-presented with good clear and detailed resolution. No sibilance is observed and no harsh peaky instances. The highs has good amount of air distributing a fair amount of space for instruments and vocals. The Heart Mirror are a pair of neutral bright IEMs, with a thinner note weight. The Heart Mirror have much less bass quantity, but bass quality is superior – tighter and faster, with better texture. The Tanchjim Tanya are a warm harman-like set and are also bullet shaped with a non-detachable cable. Both sets scale better with amping, but the Tanya are easier to drive. Now that I’ve had a chance to listen to the BLON‌‌ BL-03, I can see why so many people are in love with these things. While there are more detailed, more resolving IEMs out there, I believe the BLON sets a new standard for musicality at this price point. Compared to the Tin Hifi T3, which retails for about double what the BL-03 does, the BLON‌‌ IEM‌ matched up very well. Just like a pair of speakers, which one you would prefer over the other is probably based on what you put the priority on as a listener. Enjoy a punchy bass and brilliant vocals with the BLON BL-03. These earphones use a carefully tuned 10mm dynamic driver with a carbon diaphragm. And, it does all this on a budget. What's not to like?
