I bought 2 tins of white daisy, garden shades for my summer house. After applying it , when it started raining a day later it’s started going yellow. Not fit for purpose. I also used 2 tins of fresh rosemary which was fine. Must be a bad batch. There can’t be any quality control at Cuprinol. When buying partner items like this one, your contract of sale will be with our Range Plus Partner instead of us. Larger items over 30kg can only be delivered Monday to Friday. Please allow up to two working days for these deliveries. Coverage on smooth wood using a brush is 10-12m2 per litre, coverage on rough sawn wood using a brush is 3-5m2 per litre

Brighten up your garden with Cuprinol Garden Shades Paint. With a wide selection of colours available you will be able to easily redecorate your garden to your liking. A traditional way to seal and protect wooden surfaces whilst achieving a sympathetic natural finish.

We'd recommend brushing over the surface with a stiff bristle brush to break down the waxes following a clean down to remove any residue. Once the waxes are broken down and removed a new coat can be applied. Smooth wood -Brush 10-12m2 per litre ,Spray 4-5m2L ,Rough sawn wood - Brush 3-5m2 per litre ,Spray 2-3m2 per litre Test a small area first for colour and adhesion: Colour the final colour will depend upon the type of surface, previous treatment and number of coats applied. If using more than one can it is advisable to mix them together in a container or finish in a corner before starting a new can. Adhesion: if adhesion is inadequate on previously coated surfaces, lightly sand before application. It sounds as though the protective layer of the previously applied Garden Shades is stopping the new coat from adhering. The wood in places had been weathered to the point where it won’t adhere(panels are only 6 yrs old)
