However, due to the R5 base’s shorter stature, the mounting holes are now closer together. This may bring up compatibility issues with some pre-drilled mounting plates. The brake pedal has a completely linear and non-progressive feel. This results in little sensation of how much pressure is being applied.

Ok with that out of the way lets get to it, this 5.5 NM wheel base is tiny! and silent no wiring fans or rattles. I got the CS wheel too which is great plan to add the KS one day, the QR is perfection theres no flex in the shat at all. I find the Torque on par with the TS-PC which is supposed to be 6NM but man the delivery and fidelity is amazing and I mean amazing smooth as ****, you feel every kerb and road bump x 10 not in intesity but fidelity. The pit hub software is excellent tweak or dont tweak every setting is available. Can you go bigger? yes can you pay more? yes but this little marvel will up your game no end. So, what about the user experience. As stated above, the R9 is more than powerful enough for most users and provides ample detail too. Despite it being a weighty bit of kit, it's not huge and will happily sit on most rigs without issue. The included software is more than capable of setting the base up to how you like it though may not be the most intuitive software ever. You'll need to have a play to get it where you want it though there are plenty of videos and guides to help with this. By comparison, the CSL DD and GT DD Pro have a slight underlying sensation of grain as you rotate the wheel. Although you really have to pay attention to notice it.
