About this deal

IGNITE ME really does ignite all five of your senses. It blows your mind and makes you hungry for more of its amazing characters. It will completely blow your expectations; Tahereh Mafi truly knows how to deliver!" – Teenreads.com Warner is trying to confess everything to Juliette, but she distracts him with nakedness. Afterward, he finally tells her, and she runs out horrified. Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me series has sold more than a million books. It’s a YA dystopian series centering around a girl named Juliette. Juliette has a very unique power in that anyone she touches dies.

Also, I don't stand behind the empowering feeling she had because of her shaved head, since she only did it because she was drunk. It's distasteful tbh, and pretty much ruins the beauty is not only physical theme. You give Nazeera a hijab that not only shows power to her as a woman but also power in her beliefs, but the valley girl gets a little drunk and heartbroken...just sayin LOL, but yeah whatever. What do I know. You do you girl. You read that right. Her name is Emmeline, and it used to be Warner’s job to torture her. Because Warner is a good guy (despite his own doubts), he confesses everything to Juliette the first chance he gets. And she kinda sorta breaks up with him. Nazeera has superpowers. It's been a couple weeks since I put this down and I'm officially comfortable calling this a DNF at about 51% (pg. 235) But something is changing between us, and I don't know how to stop myself from breaking every promise I've ever made to myself regarding my best friend's wife. Promises that include never telling her that there's a long list of things I feel about her, but hate isn't one of them. One side effect of this is that throughout the book there are crossed out lines, as if Juliette is writing in a journal and crosses out things she initially wrote, but changed her mind. She giggles and even the sound is heavenly. I want to soak it up, pull every note out of the air, and absorb it into my being.”

I, personally, despise widowed wife x dead husband's bestfriend. would i have read this if i knew that was the trope? no. it's my fault really, i heard it brings depression and i flew to read it. did it deliver? no, only one chapter made me emotional 😒 if the wife still loves her dead husband, i immediately hate the book because in my book universe, only one man exists for the fmc. NAZEERA COULD CHOKE ME WITH HER BARE HANDS AND I WOULD THANK HER FOR IT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO BLESSED BY A FEMALE FRIENDSHIP. HER CHALLENGING KENJI ABOUT COVERING HER HAIR. HER FLIPPING HIM OFF. HER POWERS. HER KINDNESS AND COMPANIONSHIP. I'M UTTERLY DECEASEDWarner remembers his father and his friends agreeing that their children should learn to disable each other, and also learn what a bullet feels like.

Now there were some times of miscommunication that could be avoided, but i guess it was in line with their character and the things they went through and it added to the tension so i guess i didn't mind it that much. Overall i loved it and i will definetely read the rest of this series and more from this author.

Restore Me Recap: Everything You Need To Know

The Supreme Commander of Europe’s daughter, Lena, arrives at the base, who turns out to be Warner’s ex-girlfriend. this book takes place in march.... bitch im just sayin they better sort their shit out so i can get a HAPPY warner birthday scene Addictive, intense, and oozing with romance. I'm envious. I couldn't put it down." – Lauren Kate, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Fallen series I’m sorry—what?” I take my hand off my gun; feel my body unclench. “Kenji, what are you talking about? This isn’t about the war?” i think the best line to describe this book is that juliette is dealing with "the frustration of having so much power, so much power and feeling so utterly, completely powerless" (420-421). Once you realize that, NOTHING juliette does comes off as whiney.
