We recommend the first burn of a minimum of 2 hours but Burn no more than 4 hours at a time and allow more than 1 burn for the candle to throw the scent fully. If you see a flaming wick come close to the vessel wall, extinguish the flame and straighten the wick to prevent the vessel from cracking.
