The method of our work was as following: 1- We took the software (android) of Mafatih from the version of Erfan. Mafatih al-jinan has been translated into many languages including Farsi, English, French, Turkish, Urdu, Spanish, and Bahasa Indonesia. One section contains prayers specific to the fourteen Infallibles (a) and the other one covers other famous prayers such as the Ja'far al-Tayyar Prayer, the prayer at the night of burial, and the prayer on the first day of the lunar months.

It is advisable that when there is a large throng of pilgrims, those who have succeeded in approaching the ḍarīḥ should shorten the time of ziyārah and leave so that others may have the opportunity to approach the ḍarīḥ like them. This chapter includes: Ta'qibat (acts of worship after prayers), practices of days, nights, and days of the week, famous prayers such as the Prayer of the Prophet (s), the Prayer of Amir al-Mu'minin (a), the Prayer of Lady Fatima (a), and the Prayer of Ja'far al-Tayyar, Ziyara texts of Imams (a) on the days of the week, supplications including Munajat Khams 'Ashar of Imam al-Sajjad (a), Munajat of Imam Ali (a) in Mosque of Kufa, Du'a al-Simat, Du'a al-Kumayl, al-Jawshan al-Saghir, al-Jawshan al-Kabir, Du'a Makarim al-Akhlaq. Al-Baqiyat al-salihat is a book Shaykh 'Abbas Qummi has written and published on the margins of Mafatih al-jinan.Since the Mafatih al-jinan in full form is a large book, and it is not easy to be carried, many publishers have frequently published selections of it. O you who were tested before your creation by Allah, who created you, and, in His test found you to be patient and constant!Since Mafatih al-jinan covers mostly individual acts of worship, Ayatollah Jawadi Amuli has composed and published the book of Mafatih al-hayat [literally meaning "keys to life"] based on hadiths regarding social and family relationships as well as daily life. O Allah, let Your blessings, the blessings of Your angels brought near to You, and those of Your prophets, apostles, Your righteous servants and the denizens of the heavens and the earths and those who glorify You from the earliest of the generations to the last of them, O Lord of all the worlds, be upon Muḥammad, Your servant, apostle, prophet, trustee, confidant, beloved, elect, intimate, best friend and the chosen of Your creatures! This weighty inheritance is a boon to be consulted with great respect, not a bane bearing the trappings of times of old, which some would consider as unbefitting of modern-day thought patterns. He demonstrates how a reading that respects context is firmly rooted in the Islamic tradition from the earliest days. However, it is not desirable during the journey of ziyārah to the shrine of Imam al-Ḥusayn ( ‘a) to carry delicious preparations such as pilau, sweetmeats etc.

In the Muqni‘ah Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣādiq ( ‘a) is reported to have said, Those who visit me shall be forgiven their sins and they will not be destitute at death. When entering the Prophet’s Mosque, stand at the door and recite the first appeal for admittance and then enter with the right foot from the Door of Gabriel. Allah, bless Muḥammad and his Family and take care of what I am leaving behind and do not abandon me to my own devices, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
