About this deal

There isn’t really anything negative to say about it, apart from the side view of the Dumbledore minifigure, where the lack of torso/legs printing shows. The collectible LEGO Harry Potter Hedwig (75979) display toy offers a rewarding building experience and looks magnificent on show. If you want to create a high-quality showcase with this stunning set, invest in iDisplayit’s specialised display case.

We drop, heat, crush, twist and analyze LEGO® pieces to ensure they meet strict, globally recognized safety standards. Thanks to the container’s sturdy design, your LEGO 76394 Fawkes can be exhibited on any flat surface of your choosing, with plenty of room for the detailed magical bird model to be placed with the posable wings at a high or low wingspan. The stand includes the crank to make the winds flap – and the perch to have the phoenix hold on to with its claws. Turning over the box we see an illustration of Fawkes from the left rear, showing that by turning the crank at the base, the wings will start flapping.

There is also a 1:1 scale photo of the printed 2×4 tile used as nameplate attached to the base, showing this is a model of Fawkes. K. Rowling that it is based closely on, have been delighting fans young and old since the debut of the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, arrived on the scene in 1997.A buildable bird with ‘flying’ wings, it’s a 597-piece, brick-built model that recreates the fiery feathers, powerful beak and graceful flight of Fawkes the phoenix that kids can display and ‘fly’. While different from the typical minifigure based sets, one of the most popular LEGO Harry Potter sets in 2020 was the model of Hedwig. In bag 1, we start with building the small stand with Professor Albus Dumbledore and the minifigure scaled model of his phoenix Fawkes.

With a wingspan of over 35cm and a beak-to-tail distance of over 24cm, this collectable Fawkes model will stand out and be the center of attention on display. Once the build is complete, a turn of a handle causes the jointedwings to move gracefully up and down.LEGO building kits meet strict industry quality standards to ensure they are consistent, compatible and connect and pull apart perfectly every time – it’s been that way since 1958. The lid is then placed on top, with the completed clear case placed over the model, sitting on the base.

I have another review of two coming up in the next month, but otherwise I will focus on finishing a couple of MOCs I’ve been working on. This authentic recreation shows Fawkes the phoenix on a sturdy base with a handle at the rear to control the wings. More you’ve already put together 75979 Hedwig – but that shouldn’t put you off expanding your magical bird collection.Since 1958, LEGO® sets have met strict industry quality standards to be consistent, compatible and easy to assemble and disassemble. The collectible model features a sturdy base and comes with a LEGO minifigure of Albus Dumbledore and a smaller Fawkes figure. With its bright colours, it looks amazing though on the box, and I am curious to see how great it will look next to my Hedwig set. s Phoenix (76394) is a realistic model of the iconic phoenix from the Harry Potter movies that kids can display for all their friends to admire. With a wingspan of over 13” (34cm) and a beak-to-tail measurement of over 7” (20cm), this mechanical Hedwig collectible LEGO set makes an impressive display that is sure to be the center of attention.
