The BR-800's powerful onboard effects processor includes GT-10/10B effects, VE-20 vocal effects and harmonies, and COSM-based acoustic-guitar body modeling. Despite its diminutive weight, its compact size and high outlay, it still comes packed with useful and moreover very high quality recording goodies. I've only given 4 stars because I'm having trouble linking it to my PC, but I'm sure I'll work that out. I took a step back, read the manual and went on-line only to have it confirmed, Not only that, but TRACK EDITING has also been greatly dumbed down. Connected to a PC, the BR-800 will function as an USB audio interface for recordings that utilize the internal effects. Used on its own the BR-800 is an extremely functional machine, but add in that you also get an amp-sim and guitar FX-equipped front-end for a software system and you're getting massive flexibility for your money. When mixing you have a choice of adding either reverb or chorus/delay to each track, as well as setting the panning EQ and volume.
