This giant calendar is a celebration of Welsh cheesemaking, containing produce from seven different cheesemakers, with contents ranging from creamy soft cheeses to punchy Cheddars and yummy blues.

Applewood – A real English treasure, Applewood is made in the West Country from British cheddar and has a delicate smoky flavor and a lovely smooth texture, with a sprinkling of paprika for good measure. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The Cheese Advent Calendar prototype was handmade in 2016 by So Wrong It’s Nom founder, Annem Hobson.

Ilchester Vintage PDO Cheddar – Carefully matured, this cheddar is made in the West Country near the Mendip Hills.
