A promotional image for Doom: Eternal released on June 9th, 2019 includes a rabbit hidden amongst the crowd of demons surrounding the Doom Slayer, lending further credence to the idea that Daisy will appear somehow in Doom: Eternal. Daisy does indeed make a cameo appearance in the Doom Slayer's room on the Fortress of Doom, being held gently in his hand in a painting. [1] [2] In Doom: Annihilation, Daisy makes an appearance as an AI. She is eventually revealed to be evil (like HAL). In Europe, the game debuted at number 2 in the UK charts and number 2 in the Switzerland charts behind Animal Crossing: New Horizons, although Doom Eternal 's physical sales were 33% less than its predecessor – a likely side-effect of the social distancing procedures implemented in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
